This tip makes it so when your computer is restarted, the dock items are automatically reset. for example, you let a child use your computer and the internet/mail/itunes apps disappear from the dock. a simple restart will bring them all back. First, Bring up the finder or click on the hard drive. On the left, click on the user tab(mine says blair - because thats my name) Click Library Click Preferences Preferences has a LARGE list of files, scroll until you see "com.apple.dock.plist" Click on com.apple.dock.plist ONCE and (on the right) you should see a descriptions and a button appear that says more info. Click "more info" in the middle of the tab you will see a checkbox that says "locked" check the box then close the tab. you have now locked your dock. anything added to it will or taken off of it will be reversed upon reset. simply go back and unlock it if you'd like to add or remove a program from your dock.

I like to do shopping online because its easy and i don't have to leave my couch. i don't have to deal with sales associates offering me credit cards. i never have to ask an employee a question because the answer is always in front of you. I did find 2 cool websites to help. this goofy camel company is set up so you can type in an item, and it will track the price of that item online. then you can tell it to send you alerts when you want. and thankfully they never spam. camelcamelcamel.com is the amazon tracking site. then in the top right you can switch to bestbuy and a couple others. very neat. secondly, i think i already talked about filleritem.com also very neat as well.

So when you find something on amazon, often it doesn't come to 25 dollars. it usually makes sense to find an item to make up for it, so you get free shipping, either saving money and getting something else. go to www.filleritem.com and type in how much more you need. its very cool

I sell lots of items on amazon. thousands actually, and i found some free software that has been amazingly helpful for changing image names. RenameMaster on jojosoft.com makes it so you can use a CSV file to find a file, then have its name changed. wow. for people like me, and anyone else selling on amazon, this is freaking fantastic....

According to the NY Daily News , It is now known that Carter ' pleaded guilty to attempted possession of a weapon in the second degree, sparing him a possible 3 1/2-to-7-year prison sentence .'
